steel-concrete composite structures with application of continuous shear connectors obtained by appropriate cutting of I-shaped steel beams; application of rolled sections in composite bridges (various forms of girders using hot-rolled sections, application of transition zones joining composite and concrete sections along beam, hybrid beams); static analysis of hybrid bridges, properties of modern and old steels, assessment of existing railway bridges.
